Babies are one of life's greatest gifts, and I was blessed with four bundles of joy (3 boys and 1 girl). Not only did they change my life, but they also opened me up to a world full of baby treasures. I admit I'm a sucker for keepsakes.
My journey into the world of keepsakes began in November 2008, when I delivered my first healthy baby boy who steals my heart daily. From the very moment I found out I was pregnant; it was almost instinctual to try to absorb and preserve every amazing bit of him. One of the major highlights during my pregnancy was going for my ultrasound appointment and hearing my baby's heartbeat.
The anticipation and the joy of hearing the first “swoosh, swoosh” was one of the most magical moments of my life.
I began to organise fundraising events for kids with cancer when I met 3 year old Jai. Jai had been diagnosed with high risk Neuroblastoma cancer and so I decided to raise funds to help him and his beautiful family.
As our friendship developed, I wanted to give Jai's mum, Hayley, a unique gift that she could treasure forever. Remembering how I felt at my ultrasound appointments, I thought it would be amazing if Hayley could record Jai's heartbeat and keep the recording in a cuddly teddy bear.
After discovering an untapped market for recordable stuffed animals, much of my research unveiled stuffed animals that did not meet my standards of quality for such a special keepsake. There was nothing contemporary and stylish out there for modern parents wanting to record these precious life events. That was the moment the idea for Baby Beats was born and I started to create my own line of heartbeat animals, making them available to every expectant mother.
Becoming a mother was the catalyst for turning my beloved hobby of sourcing unique baby gifts into a career. I was able to achieve this goal through the love and support I received from my incredible husband and my 4 beautiful children.
Baby Beats began in 2017 after I noticed a gap in the Australian market that provided a unique pregnancy keepsake. I am very passionate about what I do and I'm proud to say all Baby Beats products are manufactured to my own designs and packaged here in Australia.
I make sure Baby Beats is always evolving, providing customers with the best online experience as well as product experience. I love connecting on social media and I am constantly attached to my phone! You can find me on Facebook and Instagram. I have only one regret, I wish I would have started this sooner.
Baby Beats works closely with families dealing with loss and sadness. My aim is to have these animals touch your heart and warm your soul in difficult times. I want to help you preserve the wonderful moments and help our minds remember that which our heart can never forget.

My goal from the very first day I started Baby Beats is to build up a business that I can run from home and choose my own hours. My dream is to have enough free time to enjoy and be available for my family while my children are still young. I would also like to expand my product line and produce a large range of keepsakes and unique gifts.
